What is something both paramedics and now SLHS coaches have in common?.. Well besides both having to deal with bloody noses, twisted ankles and heat stroke they are now both CPR certified.  CPR or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a really important life saving procedure. It is required for coaches to fully understand the steps involved and their importance in order to save athlete’s lives if necessary. During the summer on August 8th from 8a.m. to 11a.m there was a mandatory CPR course offered for coaches to attend in the Health Career Fundamentals classroom.      READ MORE
